Lock #32 in Sandy Hook, Maryland, is near the start of mile 60. The closest access point is at the Shenandoah River Lock, approximately mile 60.62. The canal is also accessible via footbridge from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, at approximately mile 60.7.
