Mile: 9 - 10
Along the Potomac
Access to mile 9 is from Lock #10, also known as the third of the Seven Locks, at mile 8.79. Lock #10 is the last access point with parking before Carderock, at mile 9.47.
Lock #11, fourth of the Seven Locks is at mile 8.97. The Capital Beltway crosses the canal at mile 9.3.
