The National Zoo will celebrate its annual BirdFest with an outdoor festival that will take place on Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival features interactive displays by organizations involved in bird conservation, research, and appreciation; hands-on educational activities and crafts for families; live birds of prey; and performances by Evergreen Theatre of Alberta, Canada.
