We are the local Washington, DC, chapter of the National Audubon Society (NAS), and our membership consists of the members of the NAS who live in District of Columbia. We are affiliated with Audubon Maryland-DC, a consortium of local Audubon chapters.
Mission
The mission of the Audubon Society of the District of Columbia is to promote the appreciation and conservation of birds and their habitats through the education and participation of people in the DC area.
Vision
We envision a community with increased diversity of native birds and their habitats, enriching quality of life through a healthy environment, and fostering a vital connection with nature within our city. We seek a community dedicated to a culture of conservation and an environmental ethic.

To Join
Introductory dues are $20, which includes a year-long subscription to Audubon magazine. When you join, you become a member of both ASDC and National Audubon. To join DC Audubon, click here.
